International scientific webinar organized by IHM International / IHM Africa in collaboration with PAWH, bringing together healthcare professionals, researchers and experts from Africa and Europe.

On 22 June 2026, IHM International / IHM Africa, in collaboration with the Pan-African Wound Healing Organization (PAWH), organized its first international online training dedicated to wound care, bringing together a large community of healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, and experts from across Francophone Africa.

Healthcare education never stands still — and neither does IHM International / IHM Africa. True to its mission of promoting excellence in scientific innovation and international cooperation, the organization recently teamed up with the Pan African Wound Healing Association (PAWH) to host a high-level international webinar on wound healing, chronic wound management, therapeutic education, and nutrition.

The event drew an impressive crowd: more than 300 participants joined from across Africa and Europe, coming together to exchange knowledge and explore the latest thinking in wound care. Healthcare professionals, researchers, and experts used the platform not just to listen, but to engage — sharing insights, debating new approaches, and pushing the field forward together.

Leading the sessions were IHM International / IHM Africa’s own international trainers and scientific experts, a reflection of just how far the organization has come as a hub for education and scientific exchange. Behind the scenes, the event’s technical coordination, digital logistics, and participant management were handled by Abdelmajid Ben Mlouka, Administrator of IHM Africa — whose careful planning and hands-on involvement were instrumental in bringing the whole initiative together smoothly.

More than just a successful webinar, this collaboration is a statement of intent. IHM International / IHM Africa and PAWH remain firmly committed to building lasting healthcare capacity, deepening scientific partnerships, and strengthening the ties between Africa and Europe. It’s one more step in IHM’s broader journey — turning knowledge into real, tangible impact on patient care through education, innovation, and cooperation.
