IHM Masterclass in Abidjan with INFAS – Strengthening Clinical Excellence in Côte d’Ivoire March 30 and 31

Within its strategic development across Africa, IHM International / Africa continues to strengthen its commitment to medical education and capacity building through structured Masterclass programs delivered in collaboration with leading academic institutions.

In Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, IHM partnered with INFAS (Institut National de Formation des Agents de Santé) to organize a specialized Masterclass dedicated to advancing clinical knowledge and improving practices in wound care and healthcare management.

This training brought together nurses, healthcare professionals, and academic contributors in an interactive learning environment focused on evidence-based practices, clinical protocols, and the reinforcement of practical skills in patient care.

The success and excellence of this Masterclass were made possible through the contribution of the IHM Scientific Committee and international trainers of IHM Africa, whose academic expertise and field experience ensured a high-level scientific and educational standard throughout the program.

Among the key contributors were the Director General of INFAS Pr. N’Dhatz Ebagnitchie, Professor Amen Allah Messadi, Professor Michel Kodo, and Professor DJE BI DJE Valérie, whose engagement and academic leadership significantly strengthened the quality and impact of the training sessions.

The collaboration with INFAS highlights the importance of institutional partnerships in strengthening health systems and ensuring continuous professional development for healthcare workers. It also reflects IHM’s commitment to working closely with national training institutions to ensure sustainable impact and local ownership of knowledge transfer.

Through such initiatives, IHM International / Africa continues to expand its footprint across West Africa, fostering scientific exchange, improving

clinical standards, and supporting healthcare professionals in their daily practice.

This Masterclass in Abidjan represents another step in the consolidation of IHM’s vision: to build strong bridges between international expertise and local healthcare realities, ensuring long-term improvements in patient care and health system performance.
