On June 23–24 2026, IHM Africa took part in the activities of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization ALECSO, marking an important step in strengthening dialogue between Africa and the Arab world in education, science and health.

The engagement reflects a shared ambition: bringing together expertise, building capacity, and opening new avenues for partnership between academic institutions, researchers and professionals.

A contribution driven by excellence and shared vision

Distinguished experts represented IHM Africa’s commitment to international cooperation, highlighting the value of connecting scientific knowledge with real-world impact.

Prof. Georg Votava, ALECSO Visiting Professor, brought his international academic experience and vision for strengthening cross-regional partnerships. Prof. Chokri Hamouda, also an ALECSO Visiting Professor, further enriched the discussions through his expertise and commitment to knowledge sharing.
