An Extraordinary Series of Master Classes: Raising the Bar on Excellence

Throughout the month of April 2026, we at IHM International / IHM Africa had the immense privilege of bringing together hundreds of healthcare professionals across multiple countries for a series of certified Master Classes focused on wound care, skills development, and international health standards.

To say the response exceeded all expectations would be an understatement—your passion and dedication truly blew us away!

This incredible month-long journey brought together 243 passionate and engaged participants across 4 deeply impactful events and 3 countries mobilized to advance healthcare. What started on paper as an ambitious training programme quickly grew into a deeply moving human and scientific adventure. In close collaboration with our valued academic institutions and partner associations, we organized these sessions to be more than just lectures; they became a vibrant community of practitioners, researchers, and educators—all united by a heartfelt, shared commitment to raising the bar for patient care.

Every single stop this month left a unique mark, weaving together a powerful story of regional and international collaboration:

  • UPSAT Sfax (Tunisia): Our journey began here, where 128 participants set a brilliant tone for the rest of the month through exceptional scientific quality and highly interactive, practical
  • Gambia Wound Care Association (Online): Distance proved to be absolutely no obstacle for community during this virtual session, which opened the door to incredibly rich discussions and sparked concrete, cross-border collaboration.
  • UPSAT Sousse (Tunisia): We then gathered 84 participants for a session defined by a beautiful synergy and high-quality interactions between seasoned experts and frontline practitioners in an atmosphere of mutual learning.
  • UPSAT Tunis (Tunisia): Finally, we closed the month with a more intimate session of 31 participants, where a smaller setting allowed the group to dive into great depth and explore the fine nuances of professional healthcare challenges.
